Position Overview:
The Director of Data Management is accountable for defining the strategy and automating a wide range of demand planning processes across multiple product lines and sales channels. Continuously monitor Demand Planning process adoption, execution and capability requirements ensuring that processes and systems are operated optimally and consistently across DMA (globally).
Responsibilities:
• Ensure data integrity within demand planning software and programs.

• Automate demand planning processes; devising systems and methods that either makes it impossible for an error to occur or makes the error immediately obvious once it has occurred.

• Develop, automate and maintain monthly scorecard metrics across product lines.

• Ensure production schedule and China stock levels are optimized.

• Serve as custodian for the for Demand Planning process documentation, standard operating procedures. Training materials etc,

• Monitor and ensure the adoption/adherence and standardization of demand planning processes across business units, product lines, and customers.

• Ensure that each product line is regularly monitored using established methodology.

• Ensure that Demand Planners are engaged with Sales Team to understand customer projects or line additions that can impact future supply needs.

• Review Demand Planning forecasts data systems to ensure forecasts are accurate and reflective of future demand patterns.

• Liaison with other departments, cross-functional teams, and external stake-holders to develop and sustain data management systems.

 

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Data Management or similar degree.

• 8-10 years’ experience automating and integrating supply chain, demand planning, operations and financial data

• Ability to operate and utilize Crystal along with Microsoft tools such as: PowerPoint and Excel

Position Overview:

Manage Supply Chain operations, including shipping, receiving and logistics.  Maximize manufacturing efficiency, minimize costs and drive product quality while ensuring customer satisfaction.  Coach, lead and facilitate department employees to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of supplies, raw materials, finished goods and packaging through self or subordinate(s).  Maintain product binders to provide accurate and timely Supply Chain management and information status across all product lines, strategic customers.  Also responsible for Vendor and Supplier management and inbound/outbound logistics.  Responsible for maintaining and monitoring forward demand forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Continual review of “future state” organization required
  • Prepare a consistent forecasting methodology across all product lines/strategic customers that is accurate and timely and maintenance thereof
  • This role is responsible for a dedicated forecasting system, inclusive of the tracking of lost sales and the impact on forecasting
  • Track stock up orders and ensure that stock up orders are not included to distort the master forecast inclusive of the following data elements:
  • Overstock
  • Low Stock
  • Sales Above Plan Levels
  • Sales Below Plan Levels
  • New Items Less Than 1 Year in the Line
  • Return Levels by Product
  • On a monthly basis responsible for assessing Plan Run Forecasted demand rates and adjusting planned demand
  • Communicate the timing of product availability for “out of stock or rationed items”
  • Responsible for the issuance of purchase orders to all DMA Vendors based upon forecasted information
  • Implement Quarantine Product database and “inspect expectations” on an ongoing basis
  • Handles domestic purchase orders from US Vendors

  • Responsible for reconciling purchase orders back to what the Vendor shows as open
  • Interface with Senior Management daily regarding the impact of new demand opportunities on supply needs. Goal is to be aware of emerging needs and add them to the demand forecast as soon as possible and issuing purchase orders to Vendors as the demand levels change
  • Interaction with the VP of China Operations in coordinating efforts with supporting manufacturers inclusive of holding factories accountable to target dates of delivery and communicating gaps to the DMA Sales, LLC Shanghai office
  • Establish and monitor DC warehouse(s) inventory holding capacities
  • Communicate inbound container contents and capacity to the organization and providing put away sheets for each inbound container
  • When goods move from the various statuses of order, inbound and arrival responsible for recalculating the forecast and updating the organization
  • Direct the movement of production between the DMA Receiving Warehouse and the Main Warehouse
  • Maintain target stock at Main Warehouse with approximately two months of stock
  • Continual interface with manufacturers regarding any required repackaging items needed to resell product
  • Establish and implement Supply Chain material planning, ordering and support requirements for the “Product Repurpose Efforts”
  • Establish metrics for Inventory Control, Logistics Coordinator

Rationing/Overstock Coordination

  • Responsible for coordinating efforts with each sales channel to ratio, if necessary, to maintain product supply for channels with contractual supply penalties
  • Maintain a DMA overstock list that allows Senior Management to decide if additional discounting is necessary to move surplus items. In some cases, this may result in Hot Sheet specials to liquidate surplus product
  • Responsible for weekly demand reporting to highlight monthly goal attainment and possible supply problems
  • Monitor inventory turns by product category

Reporting

  • Responsible for reporting monthly warranty reporting and tracking of warranty trends
  • Weekly monitoring of Auto Zone Out of Stock SKUs and communicating the timely replenishment of those needed items
  • Responsible for learning the demand information provided by the key customer portals of Auto Zone, O’Reilly and Nissan USA
  • Provide needed sales reporting to the Distributor Sales effort. This involves monthly sales reporting of sales progress to budget, as well as more detailed reporting like 3 Tab Product reporting

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree a plus. Ten years’ experience can serve as a substitute
  • Heavy duty skills in MS-Access and MS-Excel
  • Crystal Reporting experience is a plus
  • Business analytical skills are a must to help interpret demand patterns and other incoming data elements

Position Overview

The Product Quality Assurance & Warranty Analyst implements the DMA quality control program for all new parts and existing parts as well as interacting with large customers on daily/weekly calls. This role pulls sample parts and conducts product inspection and testing according to established SOP procedures. This position documents inspection results and provides reports for review.

Responsibilities

  • Using approved factory drawings and tolerance standards, inspect new part numbers and existing part numbers and record the findings in the DMA inspection database. Provide any out of standard inspection results to the Director of Product Management for follow-up
  • Using the standard inspection process; measure and create laboratory testing information for every new part sample prior to shipment to the factory for development
  • Using inbound container shipment information; prepare sample worksheets based on the DMA part sampling process
  • Review new part samples using the same inspection process and maintain inspection records and publish the results to decide on the design to approve production
  • Maintain a database of all inspections results
  • Prepare monthly reports to document inspection and quality issues
  • Properly complete inspection forms for product inspections
  • Operate measurement and testing equipment and understand metrology standards
  • Safely disassemble and reassemble parts as necessary to facilitate inspection activities
  • Assist the Product Management team in developing an accurate and efficient SOPs and reports for the Department

Qualifications

  • Two-year Technical School or four-year College graduate with Automotive Service Training, Automotive Parts, and/or Customer Service training

Position Overview:

The Facility Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for performing any maintenance, cleaning and upkeep as required and repairs and hands on operations as needed.  This position will also be responsible for following weekly and monthly scheduled tasks as directed by Maintenance Director.  This position will flex as needed by the department.

Position Overview

The DC Operations GM provides the leadership for DMA’s Mullins, SC Fulfillment Center Operations team.  As the General Manager, you will be responsible for setting high standards and goals for the Operations team, ensuring that these standards and goals are achieved, while maintaining our core values and company culture.  This role requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with both stamina and mental quickness to be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth Distribution Fulfillment Center.  Excellent communication skills with all levels of the team’s members will be imperative. In this role you will directly oversee the execution of the daily operational functions and processes necessary to meet and exceed our customer’s order shipment expectations.  Strategically, this role will continuously seek to identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiencies.

This nearly 300,000ft² distribution fulfillment center will be the primary processing facility for several key OES and Big Box Retail customers.  Functioning as the primary inbound import container receiving location, this DC will handle an estimated 70% of all inbound freight and an estimated 55% of this sales channel’s customer fulfillment demand.  With company annual sales growth exceeding 70%, this site is expected to provide the space and handling capacity necessary to meet our tremendous growth opportunities.
Working Environment Includes:

High Product SKU counts, driving a mix of small parcel pick/pack/ship orders, combined with LTL and TL pallet quantity shipments.

General Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, direction, and management oversite for all direct reports.

Position Overview

The Inbound/Outbound Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the receipt of all inbound goods, manifest verification, unloading and staging, quality control inspection, and put away of all inbound freight and oversees the final quality control for and shipment of all customer orders.  He/she is responsible for the timely planning, staging, and loading of orders in accordance with the master shipping schedule.

The Inbound/Outbound Shipping Supervisor is the initial check and balance for DMA to correct any mistakes or omissions in deliveries arriving to the company or to denote any damages.   Therefore, this role requires excellent proactive communication skills, both with other internal departments and the delivering organizations, as necessary. This includes communications about shipment schedules, timing of container and truck arrivals, shortages or overages, product damages from shipping and other specific quality checks. The timely processing and communication of all inbound shipments is critical to meet customer order fulfillment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and supervising all inbound freight receiving and outbound traffic functions.
  • Provides leadership and direct supervision over the Quality Control Inspectors and the Material Handling associates assigned within their specific work team.
  • Oversees, coordinates, and directs the team’s work performance in accordance with the Company’s specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensures employees are trained on standard operating procedures and work performed is in compliance to the standards as outlined by the specific customer work task SOP’s.

  • Monitors, updates, and communicates the master receiving schedule for the entire distribution center. Ensure timely receipt and processing of all inbound freight shipments in accordance with the required SOP’s.
  • Communicates, plans, and coordinates with the Supply Chain Management Team on all issues relating to the receipt and reconciliation of inbound shipments.
  • Communicates, plans, and coordinates with customer logistics department and/or works directly with the customer’s preferred carrier to book outbound customer shipments and manage the accompanying paperwork.
  • Work closely with the Assistant DC manager and DC General Manager to implement inbound and outbound shipping policies and programs.
  • Maintains shipment receiving records, filing, and document storage in an organized manner according to the departments SOP procedures.
  • Measure and report to management on the department’s performance achievements as compared to KPI’s on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Maintaining proactive communications with your team members, other company departments, customer logistical teams, and with your direct supervisor during each workday.
  • Ensures that the equipment logs are maintained for the departmental equipment and the battery watering is conducted biweekly.
  • Ensuring compliance by all team members to company safety, housekeeping, and PPE practices.

Position Overview

The Facility Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for performing any maintenance, cleaning and upkeep as required and repairs and hands on operations as needed. This position will also be responsible for following weekly and monthly scheduled tasks as directed by Maintenance Director. This position will flex as needed by the department.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the facility, both internally and externally, in accordance with the facility cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Perform regularly scheduled general maintenance within the facility, including general janitorial cleaning, trash removal, painting, and running the warehouse floor sweeper and scrubber
  • Maintain the external building ensuring grass, shrubs, plants, sidewalks, and road and ensure all are maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled facility maintenance as assigned
  • Complete a weekly log for all warehouse assigned tasks completed to review with Manager
  • Maintain a clean building by performing area housekeeping inspections to ensure effectiveness of team cleaning expectations
  • Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures as assigned
  • Maintain company equipment at facility as needed

IT Systems Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of complex professional and technical duties related to the installation and maintenance of the DMA’s computer network and communications hardware and software systems, including network and application servers, routers, LAN, phone systems, label printers, scanners, in addition to mainframe and PC workstations in our Mullins facility. The IT Systems Administrator will support custom WMS system and Sage 100, as well as support other general IT project assignments as required. IT Administrator is responsible for providing user support and guidance/training on the equipment use.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and make modifications to existing SQL and NETbased WMS System, improving efficiency and performance of the users as well as software.
  • Identify user needs and work to find efficient options and IT solutions.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
  • Manage the configuration and operation of client-based computer operating systems
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
