Position Overview:
The Director of Data Management is accountable for defining the strategy and automating a wide range of demand planning processes across multiple product lines and sales channels. Continuously monitor Demand Planning process adoption, execution and capability requirements ensuring that processes and systems are operated optimally and consistently across DMA (globally).
Responsibilities:
• Ensure data integrity within demand planning software and programs.

• Automate demand planning processes; devising systems and methods that either makes it impossible for an error to occur or makes the error immediately obvious once it has occurred.

• Develop, automate and maintain monthly scorecard metrics across product lines.

• Ensure production schedule and China stock levels are optimized.

• Serve as custodian for the for Demand Planning process documentation, standard operating procedures. Training materials etc,

• Monitor and ensure the adoption/adherence and standardization of demand planning processes across business units, product lines, and customers.

• Ensure that each product line is regularly monitored using established methodology.

• Ensure that Demand Planners are engaged with Sales Team to understand customer projects or line additions that can impact future supply needs.

• Review Demand Planning forecasts data systems to ensure forecasts are accurate and reflective of future demand patterns.

• Liaison with other departments, cross-functional teams, and external stake-holders to develop and sustain data management systems.

 

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Data Management or similar degree.

• 8-10 years’ experience automating and integrating supply chain, demand planning, operations and financial data

• Ability to operate and utilize Crystal along with Microsoft tools such as: PowerPoint and Excel

Position Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, this position will provide day-to-day support and service related to inventory for multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Enter inventory data for quantities of parts transferred in ERP system for multiple locations
  • Initiate and track all warehouse-to-warehouse ad hoc moves
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Ensures compliance with newly established inventory control procedures
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies within internal warehouses and update all transactions in ERP system
  • Prepare and participate in yearly and ad hoc physical inventory counts as needed
  • Communicates on all Cycle Count variances to find root cause of problems and to keep the problem from reoccurring
  • Coordinates and systematically enters all warehouse-to-warehouse stocking transfers for Supply Planners
  • 3PL warehouse inventory receipts, reconciliation, adjustments and coordination

Qualifications

Position Overview

The Assistant Product Manager is responsible for managing products as assigned by the Director of Product Management. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering product and customer requirements, defining the product objectives, and working closely with the factories to deliver new products. The Assistant Product Manager also will be working with sales, marketing, and the factory to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Position Overview

To assist the DC Operations Manager with the administration of the day-to-day operations of DMA’s Distribution Centers functions and duties. To carry out the responsibilities of setting and achieving the weekly work plans while ensuring our customer expectations are being successfully met.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing the following diverse operations within the Tabor City DMA Distribution Center

  • Prepare the weekly operations work planning calendar in advance of the upcoming work week and review plan with the DC Operations Manager for sign off and agreement
  • Responsible for ensuring that employees are working in compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct
  • Take the appropriate steps to coach, council and discipline employee behaviors and work performance as required and directed in coordination with HR
  • Challenge employees whose attendance record is unacceptable and counsel them to improve
  • Communicate all employee conduct and performance issues with the DC Operations Manager and HR prior to taking specific actions with the employee
  • Ensure that all new hire employees are receiving their 90-day performance reviews and that all regular full-time employees are receiving their annual review – on time
  • Responsible for the receipt of all Inbound container receiving
  • Ensure the appropriate labor force needs have been determined and arranged to support the workload
  • Ensure all supporting paperwork has been prepared in advance and the work area is organized and ready to begin the operation
  • Ensure products are offloaded, organized, counted and placed into the proper storage locations for either restock and or overstock
  • Verify all counts and any variances and communicate to the DC Operations Manager and other supporting functions if problems are noted
  • Ensure all receiving SOP’s are being followed always
  • Provide daily oversight of the outbound order Pulling/Packing/Shipping teams including planning for the appropriate staffing levels necessary to achieve the daily work plan across all customer sales channels
  • Responsible for ensuring all SOP’s are being followed and that time metrics for each operation is being tracked and recorded. Most of shipments will be truck load and multi truck load and will require specialized packing and labeling standards
  • Record and communicate any process exceptions or failures to the Operations Manager and all other appropriate departments in a timely manner
  • Responsible for performing a root cause failure analysis and recommending necessary process improvements to Senior Management
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining employee cross training efforts to ensure a flexible and competent workforce is in place
  • Ensure regular maintenance and safety checks on all operating equipment being used within the operation has been completed and recorded daily
  • Ensure daily equipment safety checks are performed prior to equipment being put into operation.
  • Maintain a PMI Log, according to operating SOP’s, on all equipment. Any issues should be immediately brought to the DC Operations Manager attention in a timely and proactive manner
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety Code standards for tag out / lock out of equipment that is not in use or is awaiting service
  • Ensure the monitoring of correct water levels in all electric forklift batteries
  • Ensure all employees operating equipment have received the proper training and certifications prior to allowing them to operate any equipment within the facility
  • Ensure all employees are follow safety procedures, such as the use of safety harnesses or seat belts, when operating equipment
  • Ensure proper documentation, counseling and retraining in all instances where an employee has violated a safety policy
  • Notify the HR department of any violations in safety compliances
  • Maintain the cleanliness standards of the DC facility daily
  • Set a house keeping schedule for each area and assign responsibilities for keeping the area clean and free from dust, trash and debris
  • Ensure that products are neatly stacked within the shelving and that boxes are regularly dusted
  • Set a regular schedule to ensure the breakroom and restroom facilities are kept to an above average cleanliness level
  • Set a regular schedule for running the floor sweeping and scrubbing machine to keep the dust down to a minimum

Position Overview

To assist the DC Operations Manager with the administration of the day-to-day operations of DMA’s Distribution Centers functions and duties. To carry out the responsibilities of setting and achieving the weekly work plans while ensuring our customer expectations are being successfully met.

 

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing the following diverse operations within the Mullins DMA Distribution Center:

· Prepare the weekly operations work planning calendar in advance of the upcoming work week and review plan with the DC Operations Manager for sign off and agreement

· Responsible for ensuring that employees are working in compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct

· Take the appropriate steps to coach, council and discipline employee behaviors and work performance as required and directed in coordination with HR

· Challenge employees whose attendance record is unacceptable and counsel them to improve

· Communicate all employee conduct and performance issues with the DC Operations Manager and HR prior to taking specific actions with the employee

· Ensure that all new hire employees are receiving their 90-day performance reviews and that all regular full-time employees are receiving their annual review – on time

· Hold Team meetings with employees to communicate goals and objective as well as provide training in new SOP’s or related topics

·Responsible for the receipt of all Inbound container receiving

· Ensure the appropriate labor force needs have been determined and arranged to support the workload

· Ensure all supporting paperwork has been prepared in advance and the work area is organized and ready to begin the operation

· Ensure products are offloaded, organized, counted and placed into the proper storage locations for either restock and or overstock

· Responsible for performing a root cause failure analysis and recommending necessary process improvements to Senior Management

· Responsible for implementing and maintaining employee cross training efforts to ensure a flexible and competent workforce is in place

· Ensure regular maintenance and safety checks on all operating equipment being used within the operation has been completed and recorded daily

· Ensure daily equipment safety checks are performed prior to equipment being put into operation.

· Maintain a PMI Log, according to operating SOP’s, on all equipment. Any issues should be immediately brought to the DC Operations Manager attention in a timely and proactive manner

· Ensure compliance with all Safety Code standards for tag out / lock out of equipment that is not in use or is awaiting service

· Ensure the monitoring of correct water levels in all electric forklift batteries

· Ensure all employees operating equipment have received the proper training and certifications prior to allowing them to operate any equipment within the facility

· Ensure all employees are follow safety procedures, such as the use of safety harnesses or seat belts, when operating equipment

· Ensure proper documentation, counseling and retraining in all instances where an employee has violated a safety policy

· Notify the HR department of any violations in safety compliances

· Maintain the cleanliness standards of the DC facility daily

· Set a housekeeping schedule for each area and assign responsibilities for keeping the area clean and free from dust, trash and debris

Position Overview

The DC Operations GM provides the leadership for DMA’s Mullins, SC Fulfillment Center Operations team.  As the General Manager, you will be responsible for setting high standards and goals for the Operations team, ensuring that these standards and goals are achieved, while maintaining our core values and company culture.  This role requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with both stamina and mental quickness to be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth Distribution Fulfillment Center.  Excellent communication skills with all levels of the team’s members will be imperative. In this role you will directly oversee the execution of the daily operational functions and processes necessary to meet and exceed our customer’s order shipment expectations.  Strategically, this role will continuously seek to identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiencies.

This nearly 300,000ft² distribution fulfillment center will be the primary processing facility for several key OES and Big Box Retail customers.  Functioning as the primary inbound import container receiving location, this DC will handle an estimated 70% of all inbound freight and an estimated 55% of this sales channel’s customer fulfillment demand.  With company annual sales growth exceeding 70%, this site is expected to provide the space and handling capacity necessary to meet our tremendous growth opportunities.

The IT Systems Administrator will support custom WMS system and Sage 100, as well as support other general IT project assignments as required. IT Administrator is responsible for providing user support and guidance/training on the equipment use.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and make modifications to existing SQL and NETbased WMS System, improving efficiency and performance of the users as well as software.
  • Identify user needs and work to find efficient options and IT solutions.
